

Nathan "Nate" Motley, 24, of Springfield, died at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at his home. Nate was born May 19, 1991 in Springfield, the son of Dennis Motley and Connie Jordan Cooper. Nate graduated from Lanphier High School in 2009. He was employed as a delivery driver for Pizza Hut and also as an independent computer repair specialist. He was known for being very funny, charming, and "having the biggest heart". He enjoyed listening to music, playing Frisbee golf, and baseball. Nate was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Charles and Frances Wright. He is survived by his mother, Connie Jordan Cooper (husband, Greg) of Rockport, IN; father, Dennis Motley of Springfield; siblings, Jenna Motley, and Caelyn and Benjamin Cooper; paternal grandparents, Larry and Norma Motley; maternal grandparents, Candyce and Charles Jordan; niece, Aaliyah; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following visitation. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
