Nils A. Olsen

Nils was born on July 1, 1942 in Springfield, Illinois to Harold M. and Marcia Alice (Heeron) Olsen. He

married Christine Hawkins in 1980, in Springfield, IL. She preceded him in death on August 21, 1990.

Nils is survived by his girlfriend, Bishnu Miller of Peora, IL; his children, Lars (Brenda) Olsen of Walla

Walla, WA, Marcia (Ed) Wagner of Grandview, WA, Kelly (Court) Hager of Jacksonville, IL and Reneé

(Dave) Mayerck of San Antonio, TX; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; his brother, Harold A.

(Mary) Olsen of Springfield, IL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by

his parents and his wife, Christine.

Nils worked for the Illinois Secretary of State as a Hearing Officer in the department of Administrative

Hearings, retiring in 2009.

Cremation rites will be accorded and memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11:00 am at Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd. Springfield, IL 62711
