Norma Jane Ealey

Jane was born in rural Sangamon County, IL, March 3, 1923 the daughter of William A. and Lora (McCoy) Thornton. She married Paul Robert Ealey in Springfield, July 25, 1954 and he preceded her in death April 23, 1968. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gene Thornton and her sister, Marilyn Edwards.

Jane worked at Sangamo Electric Co. and then as a records clerk for Memorial Home Health Services. She was a member of West Side Christian Church.

Surviving are her son, David (wife Karla) Ealey, her two granddaughters, Elissa and Erika Ealey, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: The Ealey family will greet family and friends from 4-6 pm Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 at Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield, IL.

Ceremony: A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 at Rochester Cemetery, Rochester, IL with Gary Winkleman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may direct memorial contributions to the Springfield Christian School 2850 Cider Mill Ln., Springfield, IL 62702.
