

She was born on November 8, 1941, in Springfield, the daughter of Richard M. and Lillian E. (Remack) Connelly. Norma married James E. Logue on June 6, 1978, in Springfield. He preceded her in death, on March 7, 1991.
Norma graduated from Lanphier High School in 1959. She went on to work for AT&T as a service rep for 17 years, and later worked at The Garden Path, followed by Vision Care Optical Center for several years. Norma was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and Springfield Road Runners, and was a Meals on Wheels volunteer. She was a master gardener who loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and son, Richard “Rick” Cartwright.
Norma is survived by her children, Charles (Candy) Cartwright of Auburn, and John (Maryann) Cartwright and Kevin (Missy) Cartwright, both of Springfield; brothers, Richard (Bonnie) Connelly and Edward (Brenda) Connelly, both of Inverness, FL; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
Memorial Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial: Family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 245 N. Amos Ave., Springfield, followed by the Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Zach Samples, celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. A Luncheon will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Elks Lodge #158, 409 E. Lake Shore Dr., Springfield.
