Pamela Sue "Cakes" Jones

She was born on June 28, 1961 in Springfield, the daughter of Ralph S. and Barbara Ann (Malone) Rodgers. She married Earl Jones in Las Vegas, NV and they’ve been married for 23 years.

She was a member of Community of Christ Church in Springfield.

Besides her husband Earl, Pamela is survived by 2 sons Eric Aaran (Lindsey) Woollen of Peoria, IL and Robert Tyler Dishon of Springfield; her mother Barbara Ann Rodgers; 4 grandchildren, Denise Dishon, Gage Conkrite, Jonathan Conkrite, and Brianna Conkrite; and 3 sisters Cheryl (Phil) Ramey, Dianna (Carl) Rodgers, and Brenda ((Mike) Rodgers, all of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her father Ralph S. Rodgers and a brother Ralph S. Rodgers III.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 1 to 4 pm at Harvard Park Baptist Church, 2401 S. 9th St., Springfield. Cremation rites were accorded.

Memorials may be made to the Discovery Club or the APL (Animal Protective League).
