Patricia Lee Earl

Patricia Lee Earl, 73, of Springfield, passed away at 10:08 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. Patricia was born August 3, 1937 in Springfield, the daughter of George and Frances Utterback Furrow. She married Robert Earl on September 9, 1995 in Springfield. Patricia was a graduate of Lanphier High School and retired from Memorial Medical Center after 10 years as a processing tech. She was a member of the Navy Club Ship 32 Auxiliary and a life member of D.A.V. Chapter 15 Auxiliary and enjoyed reading true crime novels, painting ceramics and playing bunco. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Delores "Dodie" Harris; and a step-son, Michael Esslinger. She is survived by her husband, Robert Earl of Springfield; two sons, Robert Parrott of Springfield and James Esslinger of Springfield; three daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Parrott of Springfield, Cheryl Esslinger (companion, Henry Hofman) and Christine Schroeder (companion, Ken White), both of Springfield; two step-sons, R. Jeffery Esslinger of California and Frederick Esslinger of Alabama; three step-daughters, Shelli and Kellie Earl, both of Indiana and Donna Summa of Florida; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins; and two nephews, Donald Harris of Springfield and Rev. Timothy Harris of Buffalo. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following the services. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 pm. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home. Private family burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
