Patricia Patino Ruebling

Patricia Patino Ruebling, 54, of Springfield, died at 9:43 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at her residence. Patricia was born August 2, 1948 in Streator, Illinois the daughter of Stephen Edward and Keturah Elizabeth Johnson Matsko. She married Robert B. Patino; he preceded her in death in 1987. She later married Edward Ruebling in 1989 at the Church of the Little Flower. Mrs. Ruebling was employed by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for over 30 years in various positions including Data Systems Manager and Senior Public Service Administrator. She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and Sangamon State University. She was a member of the Church of the Little Flower. She was also preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Jamie K. Patino. She is survived by her husband: Edward L. of Springfield; three daughters: Sonya (husband, Gonzalo Leon) Patino of Corvallis, OR, Nicole Patino of Springfield, Carrie (husband, Terry) Suhre of Las Vegas, NV; three sons: Robert Patino of Chicago, Aaron (wife, Kristina) Ruebling of Springfield, Jason (wife, Shantel) Ruebling of Springfield; mother: Keturah Matsko of Lowry City, MO; three sisters: Mary (husband, Jerry) Kovach of Naperville, Brenda Hudachko of Streator, Alice (husband, Ron) Wenzel of Peoria; two brothers: Stephen J. (wife, Colleen) Matsko of Coal City, David Matsko of Jefferson City, MO; eleven grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 3-6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2003. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2003 at Church of the Little Flower with Reverend William Carpenter C.S.V. celebrant. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Little Flower, 800 Adali Stevenson Dr., Springfield, IL 62703.
