

Pauline Nash, 96, of Springfield, died at 9:05 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. Pauline was born June 27, 1916 in St. David, IL, the daughter of Leonard and Mary DeLost Jackson. She married John Michael Nash, Sr. in 1936 in Kincaid; he preceded her in death. Pauline was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and attended Brown's Business College. She had worked at Horace Mann Insurance in the Correspondence Department for over 15 years. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and Light of Love Community. She was known as a true prayer warrior and enjoyed reading scripture, praying for others, and sharing her faith. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Nash; and two brothers, Ed and John Jackson. She is survived by her two sons, Jim (wife, Vicki) Nash of Springfield and Bob (wife, Karen) Nash of Dallas, GA; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Lou Whalen of Malibu, CA. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering and Funeral Mass: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 245 N. Amos, Springfield with Rev. Robert Jallas, celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Agnes Catholic Church, 245 N.
