Pauline E. Sanderson

Pauline E. Sanderson, 81, of Kewanee, died at 1:35 A.M. Thursday, December 7, 2000 at Doctors Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. She was born September 18, 1919 the daughter of Ora and Ethel Chase Pittman in Guthrie Center, Ohio. She married Harold Sanderson June 15, 1940 in Rockport, Missouri. Mrs. Sanderson retired from News Channel 20 in 1994. She then moved to Kewanee to live with her daughter Jodi. She volunteered for the Hospital Auxiliary in Kewanee and was a Kewanee Greeter. She also worked for the Alcove Gift Shop in Kewanee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Sanderson on January 12, 1984, her parents and a brother. Survivors: Two sons, Floyd Monroe ''Monty'' (wife, Kathy) Sanderson of Chatham, Russell Gene (wife, Elaine) Sanderson of Hampton, Virginia; two daughters, Valerie Jo ''Jodi'' (husband, Joseph) Dakin of Kewanee and Pamela Ann Gongliewski of Bothell, Washington; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 3-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2000 with Funeral Services at 5:00 p.m. with the Reverend Nadine Preston officiating. A private family committal will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery Monday, December 11, 2000. A celebration of life will be held in Kewanee, IL, at a date to be announced.
