Pearl Beller-Davis, nee Berkson, beloved spouse of the late N. Roy Beller and the late Maurice J. Davis, died peacefully in Springfield, Illinois on September 22, 2022, just two weeks shy of her 106th birthday.
Born in Chicago to Hyman and Lottie Berkson, she is the youngest and last surviving of nine siblings. She is survived by son, Herb Beller (Jane); daughter, Terri Benson (Fred); granddaughters, Angie Beermann (Marc), Lindsay Beller (Ryan Chew), Sandra Benson and Leslie Benson (Robbie Alden); and great-grandchildren, Max Beermann, Nate Beermann, Tabitha Chew, Nora Chew and Isaiah Alden.
Pearl is a graduate of Marshall High School and Northwestern University and taught in Chicago public schools. She lived for many years in Palm Springs, California, where she had countless close friends with whom she shared her extraordinary wit, compassion, and wise unsolicited advice.
Graveside Ceremony: Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, 10:30 a.m. at Silverman & Weiss, DesPlaines Ave., Forest Park, IL.
