

She was born on December 20, 1981, the daughter of Curtis Claycomb and Angela (Miller) Willis. She married Robert J. Bowman.
Rachel owned her own photography business, ISO Perfection by Rachel. Aside from photography, Rachel enjoyed listening to rock music, particularly from the 1980s and 1990s. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her children.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Angela Miller; step-father, Richard Willis; foster mother, Faye Lee; and foster father, Bob Lee.
Rachel is survived by her spouse, Robert Bowman of Chatham; son, Gage Bowman of Chatham; daughter, Kaitlyn (Steven Rosa) Miller of Chatham; 8-month-old grandchild, Xander Rosa; sisters, Rebecca (John) Newell of Springfield and Brittany (Nick) Fryman of New Berlin; aunt, Cheri Miller; several nieces and nephews; close friends, Erica, “Wolfie,” and Tony; and her dog, Amina.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Illinois COVID-19 guidance will be followed, requiring face coverings and limiting attendance to 10 guests at one time.
Graveside Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Cartwright Cemetery in Pleasant Plains.
