Rebecca A. Evans

Rebecca A. Evans, 62, of Springfield, died at 6:45 a.m., Monday, October 04, 2004 at St. John’s Hospital. Rebecca was born December 28, 1941 in Little Rock, AR the daughter of Frank and Helen Davis James. She married Ken Evans, January 7, 1984 at Christ Episcopal Church in Little Rock, AR. Mrs. Evans was a graduate from Central High School in Little Rock and received her bachelor’s degree in Education from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She was employed for many years as a teacher in various school districts. She was also active in Tri Delta Sorority for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her step-father: Joseph Pecory. She is survived by her husband, Ken of Springfield; mother: Helen Pecory of Little Rock, AR; one sister: Judy (husband, Joe) Morgan of Little Rock, AR; one nephew: Brett Morgan of Little Rock, AR and several cousins. A Memorial Mass will be at 6:30 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2004 at Cathedral Church of St. Paul with The Very Reverend Robert B. Clarke, D. Min. celebrant. Graveside Committal will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 15, 2004 at Crease Close at Christ Episcopal Church in Little Rock, AR with Reverend Larry Benfield officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Illinois Branch, 206 NE Madison, Peoria, IL 61602. The family of Rebecca A.
