Rena Vallorz

Rena Vallorz, 90, of Chatham, passed away on Saturday November 15, 2014 at her son�s home in San Jose CA, surrounded by her family. She was born September 26, 1924 in Kincaid IL, the daughter of Louis and Teresa Corredato. She graduated from Kincaid High School and Brown�s Business College. She married Ernest L Vallorz Sr. on November 24, 1956 and he preceded her in death on January 11, 1991. Rena is survived by her children; Albert (Diana) Vallorz of San Jose CA, Ernest (Sonia) Vallorz Jr of Brecksville OH and Lynda Vallorz of Springfield; grandchildren Bianca (fianc�, Michael Amato)Vallorz, Nicolette (Matthew) Panos and Ernest Vallorz III; three nieces and several great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Cecilia Lancaster. Rena was a member of St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Chatham. She worked at the Taylorville Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. for 15 years as a bookkeeper and retired from the Veterans Assistance Commission of Sangamon County after 10 years. She loved traveling to attend all her grandchildren�s milestones and cooking Italian foods for her family and friends. Cremation rites were accorded. Visitation: Rena�s family will greet friends on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 9-11 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father Dennis Kollross officiating. Burial will be in Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
