She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mattie Foster; eight brothers and sisters; and her husband, Eldon Ruby.
She is survived by three sons, Ron Ruby (wife Jeanne), Ken Ruby (wife Nance), and Dennis Ruby (companion Julie); three granddaughters, Sheri Wingo (husband Chris), Melissa Connor (husband Doug) and Sara Becker (husband Brent); five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and previous daughter-in-law, Carol Ruby.
Reva was a homemaker and loved family. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ, which she played by ear. She and her husband played in a band called the Eldon Ruby Combo for nearly 50 years. Reva also played piano at various state fair events.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.
Graveside Ceremony: 10:45 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Chatham Memorial Cemetery, located at the corner of W. Walnut Street Drive and Pheasant Run in Chatham.
