Robert Earl Brickman

Robert E. “Bobby” Brickman, 64, of Jacksonville, originally from Quincy, IL passed away Sunday March 11, 2012 at Passavant Area Hospital.

He was born at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. May 17, 1947 the son of Earl H. and V. Darlene Simon Brickman. His parents preceded him in death.

Bobby attended Special Education Classes through the Quincy Public Schools. He was a member of the Ellington Memorial Presbyterian Church, Quincy, IL.

He is survived by his brother, Larry (wife Donna) Brickman of Bellevue, WA, his sister, Donna (husband Jim) Bischoff of Springfield, IL, 2 nephews; Todd (wife Hilary) Brickman of Sammamish, WA, and Jacob Bischoff of St. Charles, MO, 2 nieces; Kelly (husband Matt) Radcliff of Kirkland, WA, and Anna Bischoff of St. Louis, MO., as well as a host of friends and caregivers at the Jacksonville Developmental Center.

Cremation Rites will be accorded by the Bisch Crematory in Springfield, IL

There was a memorial service Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 2:30 pm at the Jacksonville Developmental Center 1201 S. Main, Jacksonville, IL. An additional memorial service will be held Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 11:45 am at the Ellington Memorial Presbyterian Church, 4600 North 36th Street Quincy, IL. It will be held right after the regular 10:30 am church service. Friends are welcome to attend the church service before the memorial for Bobby as well.

a private inurnment service will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, IL
