Robert Hudson "Robby" Pittman, III

Robert Hudson "Robby" Pittman, III, 28, of Springfield, died at 5:25 p.m. on August 16, 2017 at his home. Robby was born on November 9, 1988 in Springfield, the son of Robert H. Pittman, Jr. and Christina Hibbs. Robby attended Little Flower Grade School and graduated from Southeast High School. He worked for Madison Furniture for most of his working life. He was a member of Little Flower Church. Robby was a great father who enjoyed spending time with his son. He loved animals and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He also loved watching baseball, basketball, wrestling, and hockey. Robby was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Pittman, Sr. and Louann Pittman. He is survived by his father, Robert (Angie) H. Pittman, Jr. of Springfield; mother, Tina (Eric) Forbis of Springfield; son, Braedyn Pittman of Springfield; grandparents, Margaret and Millard Blaine Palm of Springfield, and John and Muriel Hibbs of Louisville, KY; sisters, Amber (Jake) R. Hurwitz and Kara C. Pittman (fianc, Jon McGlennon), both of Springfield; nephew and niece, Hudson and Aubrey Hurwitz; two nieces on the way; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering and Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, with a ceremony beginning at 12:00 p.m. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
