Robert A. Warner

Robert A. Warner, 69, lifelong resident of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at St. John's Hospital. He was born on June 30, 1943 in Springfield, the son of Frank and Pauline Wake Warner. Robert married the love of his life Vernice Tomlin in Springfield, on January 21, 1967, she survives.

He is also survived by his son Robert M. (Sandra) Warner, his grandchildren Robert A. Warner, and Marisha (David) Leach, his great-grandchildren; Davey, Tyler, and Dean Leach, his mother Pauline Warner, and his brothers: Berry and Bradley Warner all of Springfield, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; Frank Warner, brother; Stan Warner, sister; Charlotte Pletz, niece; Michelle Pletz, and niece Stephanie Fritsch.

Robert loved riding his Honda 550, and he enjoyed taking his nieces, nephews, and neighbors for rides as well. Robert enjoyed partying, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and his Pomeranian Missy.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday May 14, 2013 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen St., with Rev. Clint Cook officiating and burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 5-8pm on Monday at the funeral home.
