She was born on October 4, 1951, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Robert O. and Lillian A. (Day) Butler. Roberta married Michael D. Hickey on October 6, 1973.
Roberta was a faithful member of Church of St. Jude in Rochester. She loved being with family, cooking at holiday time, spending time with her grandchildren, and talking about her dog, Sadie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Judith Schmidt.
Roberta is survived by her husband, Michael D. Hickey of Rochester; sons, Michael (Toni), Christopher (Shelley), Kevin (Michele), and Keith (Anna) Hickey; sisters, Lillian Herter and Sherri (Walter) Hill; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center, prior to services.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Church of St. Jude, 633 S. Walnut St., Rochester, followed by the Burial at Calvary Cemetery in Springfield.
