

Rose Anders, 83, of Springfield, passed away at 2:25 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at St. John's Hospital Hospice. Rose was born April 20, 1926 in Springfield, the daughter of John and Mabel Hohimer Luparell. She married Clarence Anders on January 15, 1943 in St. Charles, MO. Rose was lifelong member of the Springfield community and retired from Bunn-O-Matic. She loved stock car racing. She loved spending time with and making over her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Dorothy Lewis. She is survived by her husband, Clarence of Springfield; two daughters, Sharon Burge of Spaulding and Judith (Randall) Moore of Springfield; grandchildren, Kimberly Burge of Riverton, Joseph (Diane) Burge of Boca Raton, FL, Angela Burge and Joshua Burge both of Spaulding, Pamela (Tim) Sutton and Randall (Alinda) Moore II, all of Springfield; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Burge, Zachary Burge, Brittany Sutton, Brianna Sutton, Ava Moore Abigail Moore and Clayton Sponslor; great-great grandchild, Jayden Sutton; two sisters, Elizabeth Gallagher and Norma (James) Clark all of Springfield; brother-in-law, Loren Lewis of AZ; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th Street, Springfield. Funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
