Rose Marie Fochtman

Rose Marie Fochtman, 83, of Macon, MO, formerly of Springfield, died at 9:21 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2004 at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon, MO. Rose was born March 14, 1921 in Chicago the daughter of Pete and Mary Elizabeth Pelton Rupslaukis. She married Marion “Fritz” Fochtman; he preceded her in death in 1987. Rose was employed by Sangamo Electric from 1941-1947. She was later owner and operator of Rose Marie Beauty Shop for twenty five years retiring in 1975. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America and American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister, Helen Robinson. She is survived by two daughters: Mary E. Garner of Springfield and Kathy (husband, Dr. Keith) Beauchamp of Macon, MO; five grandchildren: Christopher and Matthew Gates, Terilea Garner, Stacia and Jacob Beauchamp; one sister: Mary Dombroski of Springfield and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 4-7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield with Pastor Linda Jones and Pastor Scott Beauchamp officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
