

Rosemary Fox Reilly, 83, of Springfield, died at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2009 at her residence. Rosemary was born October 7, 1926 in Springfield, the daughter of Homer Guy and Dorothy Scott Fox. She married Joseph Edward Reilly on January 29, 1947 at the Rectory of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Springfield. Mrs. Reilly was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She was the founder of the Tuesday "Lunch at MCL" group, and an active member of the Lanphier Class of 1944 Alum Luncheons crowd. Her unique talent for including everyone in on a party will be missed. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Guy Willard Fox. She is survived by her husband, Joe of 63 years; a daughter Bonnie Reilly (husband, George) Books; two grandsons, Brett (wife, Laura) Books and Bradley (Betsy Link) Books; two great-granddaughters, Riley and Karigan; and a niece, Sandy Fox(husband, David) Zepp, along with several more nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Camp Butler National Cemetery, with a Celebration of Life following the service.
