Ryan "R.J." Turley, 30, of Springfield, passed away at 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at his residence. R.J. was born August 3, 1985 in Springfield, the son of Jerald L. and Mary (Foley) Turley. He married Daina M. Jones on August 15, 2009 in Chatham. R.J. attended Southeast High School. He was employed with Wheeler Sales & Services. He loved his children and family, and always had a willingness to help others. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Daina M. Turley of Springfield; one son, Trayton Turley of Springfield; two daughters, Breauna Jones and Maci Turley, both of Springfield; his mother, Mary Kruse; three siblings, Christy and John Turley, both of Springfield, and Jeremy Turley of Virden; special friends, LaRue Jr., Paul, and Tonya R. Scheib, all of Springfield; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Private family burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a memorial fund for his children, C/O CEFCU, any location.
