Sandra was born on October 14, 1946, in Springfield, the daughter of Earl R. and Barbara J. Castleman. She married James Frederick Minder on June 10, 1967, in Springfield.
Sandra was a 1964 graduate of Pawnee High School. She owned a successful commercial cleaning business for over 25 years. She enjoyed attending sporting events for her children and grandchildren, playing cards, and laughing with friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by her sons, Rich (Diana) Minder of Westfield, IN, Jason Minder of Springfield, and Jeremy (Nicke) Minder of Loami; one daughter, Andrea (Marc Becker) Minder of Chicago; six grandchildren, Avery, Charlie, Lucy, Lexi, Josi, and Isaac; three siblings, Linda (Mike Zia) Castleman of Decatur, Roxanne (Phil) Foster of Bloomington, IL, and Kevin (Beth) Castleman of Shakopee, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Funeral Mass: Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:15 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Christ the King, 1930 Barberry Dr., Springfield, IL. A Funeral Mass will be follow at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Wayne Stock, celebrant.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Pawnee.
