Sandra M. "Sandie" Neu

She was born in Oshkosh, WI December 2, 1945 the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Sweet) Fleming. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1964. Sandy retired in 2001 from Franklin Life Insurance Co. where she was a groups claim adjuster. Sandie enjoyed retirement. She had a deep love and passion for Morgan horses. She adored her family and loved spending time with them.

Sandie married Richard “Dick” Neu in Springfield, December 24, 1991 and he survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Tami (Fiancee Tom Wheeler) Pruetzel of Springfield, her step-son Rick (companion Shelia Vollmer) Neu of Centrailia, IL, seven grandchildren: Jake Neu, Michaela Neu, Maitlyn Marcketti, Trenton Pruetzel, Averi Cory, Karsyn Cory, and Alaire Wheeler, her sister, Betty Fleming of Riverton, IL and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her parents and a brother, Russ Fleming preceded her in death.

Visitation and Service: The Neu family will greet family and friends, Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 9:00 am until time of services at 10:30 am at the Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd. Springfield, IL Rev. Clint Cook will officiate. Burial will follow in Joe Brunk Cemetery.
