Sharon Kay Daniels-Roach

Sharon was born October 24, 1958, in Lincoln, the daughter of Ralph Milton and Barbara Louise Gough Glenn. She married Robert E. Roach on February 26, 2001, in Springfield at Calvary Temple; he preceded her in death on May 10, 2010.

Sharon attended Lanphier High School. She started working at the Triangle Center shortly after earning her GED. Sharon went on to graduate from the School of Cosmetology which allowed her to own and operate her own beauty shop in Divernon. She later worked at Doctors Hospital in housekeeping and then in the billing department. Sharon then worked for the Salvation Army before providing in home healthcare. Sharon had a love for the Lord and was a member of Calvary Temple. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii. She also loved horses, dogs, and playing darts.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Andrew Steven Daniels; sister, Martha Craig; and brothers, Ronald, Ralph, Billy, Bobby, George, and Mark Glenn.

Sharon is survived by her sons, Bill (Christy) Daniels of Mokena, Jason (Erin) Glenn of Lincoln, and Danny (Nevonda) Daniels of Virden; stepsons, Kyle and Tyler Roach of IN; grandchildren, Danny, Matthew, Haylee, Logan, Hudson, and Liliana; siblings, Susie Glenn of Indianapolis, IN, James Glenn of Pana, Janet Glenn of Indianapolis, IN, Larry Glenn of Springfield, Clifford (Dottie) Glenn of Beloit, WI, and Gail Allen of Springfield; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.

Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 6, 2021, at Brush Creek Cemetery with Rev. Paul Rose officiating.
