Shawn Gragg

Shawn Gragg, 40, of Springfield, passed away at 9:25 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Shawn was born February 4, 1974 in Springfield, the son of Joe and Iris Mack Gragg. He married Chantelle Crabtree on July 25, 2006 in Springfield. Shawn loved cars and music, especially car audio. He won several awards for his work. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edward and Carita Mack; and his paternal grandparents, Wordia and Bernice Gragg. He is survived by his mother, Iris Gragg of Springfield; his father, Joe (wife, Diann) Gragg of Chatham; his wife, Chantelle Gragg of Springfield; two sons, Spencer Crabtree of Springfield, and Dayton Gragg of Florida; two daughters, Marriah Patterson of Bushnell and Kindelle Schmulbach of Sherman; one grandson, Deveon Davis of Bushnell; and his siblings, Wayne (wife, Jacqueline) Gragg of Springfield, Michael (wife, Marlena) Gragg of San Antonio, TX, Colin Gragg of Miliani, Hawaii, Jerita Richardson of Memphis, TN, and Shannon Carey of New York, NY. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering and Memorial Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 4:00 until the time of the memorial ceremony at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield with Rev.
