Sybil Ann Noll-Gray

She was born on May 8, 1926 in Nevada, MO, the daughter of the late Rufus and Kitty (Sugg) Janes. She married Theodore Noll Jr. in February of 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1981. She later married Olin M. Gray on Feb. 15, 1992 in Springfield, and he preceded her in death.

She was a teacher in the Springfield Public Schools for 28 years. She last taught at Franklin Middle School in Springfield. She attended Cherry Hills Baptist Church and was a member of Kings Daughters- Nightingale Circle and also the Elks Lodge #158 Auxiliary.

Mrs. Noll-Gray is survived by children, Ted (wife Jeri) Noll of Chatham, IL, Becky Nix of Thayer, IL, Kittie (husband Butch) Stone of Springfield, Tom (wife Irene) Noll of Thayer, IL, and Don (wife Jennifer) Noll of Chatham, IL; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; and a sister Sue Russell of St. Charles, MO.

Besides her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by her daughter Bonnie Garner.

Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E.Allen, Springfield, where visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 12:30 pm, with Rev. Jerry Weber officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
