Tim W. Ausmus

Tim W. Ausmus, 49, of Sherman, died at 3:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 at his home. Tim was born on January 11, 1958 in Springfield, the son of Francis “Neal” and Peggy L. Reavy Ausmus, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Laura Marie Wise and one brother, Paul Ausmus. He married Julie Patterson Tate on September 22, 1989 in Springfield. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was employed as a surgical support technician at St. John’s Hospital for over twenty years. He loved children and cats and enjoyed fishing, football and golf. He is survived by his wife, Julie of Sherman; one daughter, Erica (husband, Jay) Wise of Springfield; one son, Phillip Tate (fiancée’, Lindsey Turnbull) of Springfield;; three grandchildren: Tyler, Ashley and Alayna Wise; siblings: Marianne Ausmus of Springfield, Kevin (wife, Valerie) Ausmus of Springfield, Neala (husband, Roy Smogor) Ausmus of Springfield, John (wife, Kim) Ausmus of Sherman, Jennifer Ausmus of Springfield and Nanette (husband, Patrick) Grogan of Glenarm; aunt, Claire Reavy; nieces and nephews: Heather Ausmus (husband, Chris Johnson), Stacy (husband, John) Marriott, Christopher Ausmus, Adam Ausmus, Andrea Ausmus, Jessica Claycomb. Corinne Claycomb, Alexa Grogan, Aubrey Grogan, Robert Grogan, Adam Grogan, Karen (husband, Rob) Misseldine, Cindy Bautista, Roger Reed and Ricky Reed; nine great nieces and great nephews and many cousins. The family welcomes friends to visit from 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2007 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Ceremonies will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Deacon David G. Sorrell officiating.
