

Timmy Lee Loos, 59 of Charleston IL passed away on May 18th, 2025 surrounded by his closest family. Tim was born on June 25th, 1965 in Marshfield, WI to Gerald and Kathy Loos. Tim spent many years working as a machinist until he no longer could work.
Tim was married to Shawn Loos for 32 years, and Shawn was the greatest love of his life from the day they first met. They had one beautiful daughter together Chelsea DeWitt (Loos), and two gorgeous granddaughters Harper and Hazel, who were Papa's whole world. Papa (Tim) will forever hold a special place in their heart. Those girls were his everything.
Tim loved spending his time at a race track whether it was a stock car track, 1/4 scale track, or slot car track. He loved racing and shared that passion with many others over the years. If you knew Tim, he was a die hard Minnesota Vikings fan, purple and gold were with him wherever he would go. Tim enjoyed fishing with his family as long as he was able, and passed on that love of fishing to Harper and Hazel.
Tim is survived by his wife Shawn Loos, daughter Chelsea (Shane) DeWitt, granddaughters Harper DeWitt, Hazel DeWitt, step-granddaughters Danelle DeWitt, Alaina DeWitt, and step-grandson Nathan DeWitt. Parents Gerald and Kathy Loos, Brothers Gary (Carol) Loos, Eddie Loos, Lance (Debbie) Loos, and sister Debbie Ferguson.
Tim had many special nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that were dearly special to him. Tim was and is forever grateful for his brothers, sister-in-laws, and brother in law that were always there to support him and love him through the good and the bad times.
No funeral services will be held per Tim's request, instead he wished for a celebration of life, which a date will be scheduled at a later time.
