Timothy "Timmy" Cletus Grace, 50, of Springfield, passed away at 5:16 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield. Tim was born on September 11, 1968, the son of Tim A and Catherine I. Grace; his mother preceded him death. Tim was employed with Wild Birds Unlimited for 16 years. He was an avid cat lover and strongly advocated for cat rescue. He loved sports and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and golf. In high school, he excelled in cross country, wrestling, and football. He is survived by his father, Tim A. Grace; brothers, Robert (wife, Denise) Byrne and Brian (wife, Carolyn) Byrne; sisters, Kathleen Rutledge and Cynthia Byrne (husband, David) Yates, and Allison Cole (husband, Darren); numerous nieces and nephews; and many extended loving family members. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019, at Butler Funeral HomeSpringfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
