

Timothy Charles Hanselman, 48, of Springfield died in the loving arms of his fiancee and family at 6:10 p.m. on February 27, 2008 in his home. Timothy was born October 30, 1959 in Springfield, IL the son of Charles Edward and Patsy Carol Teater Hanselman. Timothy married Mary Eldred in 1983 in Springfield; they divorced in 2000. Timothy worked for H.D. Smith Wholesale Drug Co. for 20 years and was a dedicated family man who cared deeply for his sons. Timothy enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and scary movies. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his honest, approachable nature. He is survived by his father, Charles Hanselman and mother, Patsy Howe of Springfield; his fiancee, Tina McMillen of Springfield; his sons, Kyle T. and Jason E. Hanselman of Springfield; his "future stepdaughter", Amber N. McMillen of Manchester; his sisters, Kim Walsh and Kari (husband, Randy) Tibbs of Springfield, Jami (husband, Rick) Geiger of Lincoln; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family will receive friends from 2:00-4:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral ceremonies will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Msgr. John R. Ossola officiating. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following the ceremony. Private family inurnment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
