Timothy Carl Knight

Timothy C. “Tim” Knight, 42, of Springfield, passed away Sunday April 4, 2010 in Springfield.

A lifelong resident of Springfield, he was born May 16, 1967 the son of Dennis and Barbara (Griffith) Knight. His maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather preceded him in death.

Tim was a laborer with Petersburg Plumbing and Heating. He was a member of the Laborers Local #477 and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved and enjoyed his family, and especially his two sons.

He attended Blessed Sacrament Church.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia “Patty”, his two sons, Mitchell and Trentin both at home, his parents, Dennis and Barbara Knight of Springfield, his paternal grandmother, Genevieve Vincent of Dallas, TX and many friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch & Son Funeral Home 505 E. Allen where a prayer service will begin at 4:00 pm Thursday April 8, 2010 with visitation following until 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 10:00 am Friday April 9, 2010 with Deacon David Erdmann officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
