

Timothy J. Reardon, 67, of Springfield, passed away at 10:38 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at St. John’s Hospice. He was born August 18, 1935 the son of Timothy and Louise Whelan Reardon in Detroit, MI. He married Joan M. Coburn in Grosse Pointe, MI on August 7, 1958. Mr. Reardon was an attorney and worked for Athas, Apostol, Kowal and Reardon in Chicago for many years. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where he had served as a Eucharistic minister and was on the Parish Council. Mr. Reardon was a graduate of the University of Michigan. He was a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Sangamon County Bar Association, and Island Bay Yacht Club. He had also previously been the Chair of the Illinois State Bar Labor Law Section. He is survived by his wife, Joan M., three sons, Thomas, Michael (wife, Amy), and Brian (wife, Lori) Reardon all of Springfield; one daughter, Katie Mary Reardon of Peoria, and three grandchildren, Emily, Calyn, and Jane Reardon all of Springfield. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2002 with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. Members of the Sangamon County Bar Association will meet at 4:45 p.m. at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home for an Association walk-through. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday October 26, 2002 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Very Rev. Kevin Vann celebrant. Burial will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 1725 S. Walnut, Springfield, IL 62704. The family of Timothy J.
