She was born in Danville on January 16, 1945, the daughter of Hilmer Clifton and Ruth (Stevens) Wheeler.
Victory was very protective of her children and always put their needs before her own. She retired as a school bus driver in Oakwood and additionally served as a bartender at her brother’s local bar. Victory enjoyed playing poker on Friday nights with her girls at Washington Plaza. In her spare time, she also loved to read.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Cord Taylor; daughter, Michelle Taylor; brothers, Hilmer Clifton “Bud” Wheeler and John Thomas Wheeler; and grandson, Tommy Taylor.
Victory is survived by her sons, Shawn (Debbie) Taylor of Springfield and Tim (Judy) Taylor of Hayworth; grandchildren, Sasha, Gabby, Tim, and Michael Taylor, and Brandon, Jordan, and Dustin Gravitt; brother, Chester “Pete” Wheeler of Danville; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
