

He was born in White Hall, IL July 27, 1925 the son of Ward and Norma Dean (Kessinger) Bridgewater. His parents and his wife Marian Pree preceded him in death.
Warren proudly served in the United States Army during W.W. II and then the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He then graduated from the University of Illinois and earned his CPA certification. He along with his partners formed the Estes Bridgewater and Legg (now Estes Bridgewater and Ogden) Accounting Firm and served there over 45 years until his retirement in 1996.
Warren was an active member of the Springfield Luncheon Optimist Club for many years. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his two daughters; Laura (Keven Phillips) Bridgewater of Cary, N.C., and Diana (Eddie) King of Springfield, a son, Jim Bridgewater of Houston, TX and six grandchildren.
Visitation and Service: The Bridgewater family will greet friends at the Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield, IL on Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 from 9:30 am until time of services at 10:30 am. Rev. Sara Isbell will officiate. Burial will follow in White Hall Cemetery, White Hall, IL.
