He was born on January 8, 1940, the son of Anton and Julia Bodnar Bolletta. Bill married Pauline Baranko, on October 16, 1965 in Gary, IN.
Bill graduated from Emerson High School in Gary, IN in 1958, and he earned his bachelor’s degree at Purdue University. He later went on to work as a Pharmacist at Walgreens, retiring in 2000 after 38 years of service. Bill was a member of Auburn’s Holy Cross Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill is survived by his wife, Pauline; sons, John (Deana) of Cape Coral, FL, William (Mary), Jr. of Auburn and Joe (Lori) Bolletta of Chatham; grandchildren, Katie Norrenberns, Jordan, Matt, Erin and Leah Bolletta; brother, John (Veronica) Bolletta of Hannibal, MO; and great-grandchildren, Rowan Norrenberns and one on the way.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
