

Carol was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, to Harold L. and Frieda I. Fix on June 1, 1942. She attended Grossmont High School in El Cajon, CA. and Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. Throughout Carol’s life, she maintained a wide variety of interests, including: working as computer programmer and systems analyst; she was a certified astrologer; she authored two books under her pen name Carrol Fix; she mentored several fledging authors; and was publisher and editor of numerous other novels by authors across the United States. She was a proud member of the “Daughters of the American Revolution”. She enjoyed traveling with her cat Lilly in her 37’ motorhome, pulling along her car, she was known as Rollingranny. However, nothing gave her more pleasure and pride than her four daughters, twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and her niece and nephews.
Carol is preceded in death by her father Harold L. Fix, her mother Frieda I. Fix, and her older brother James L. Fix.
She is survived by: daughters Sandra Goodwater, Cynthia Bhatnagar, Sharon Conn and Suzette Angel; brother, William A. Fix; and sister-in-law Margaret Fix.
In line with Carrol's wishes, a small gathering of family will be held, in the near future to celebrate her life. Your thoughts and/or prayers are all she would ever want.
