

David was born on October 26, 1930 in Moreland, Idaho to Henry David and Hazel Belnap Pearson.
David married his sweetheart Ernestine Hope Beach on June 28, 1953 in Warrenton, Virginia.
As newlyweds David and Ernestine traveled around the world where they had three sons in Cyprus, England, and Japan along the way before settling in Alexandria, Virginia in 1970. They had one daughter born in Virginia. David was devoted to his family making sure they were provided for. David retired from the Central Intelligence Agency. He was always willing to help others and grateful for all the blessings that he had. David was a handy man and could do basically everything on his own. He was a 16-year pancreatic cancer survivor.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held numerous church callings over the years.
David is survived by one sister Louis (Clyde) Williams; his three sons David Michael Pearson, Vernon (Anne) Pearson, Gregory (Cindy) Pearson; one daughter Jennifer Hinds; seven grandchildren Sarah (Brian) Quinn, Mary (Justin) Sorensen, Hannah (Justin) Ritchie, Casey Pearson and Fiancé Luke Argleben, McKenna Hinds, Bryce Pearson, and Mercedes (Christian) Moon; six great children Hyrum, Maxwell, Emmaline, Russell, and Jacob Quinn, and Joelle Ritchie; numerous nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Hazel Pearson; his loving wife of 67 years Ernestine Pearson; his siblings Margaret Ann Pearson as a child, Ray (Louis) Pearson, and Hilda (Leon) Gummersall.
There will be a viewing on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield, VA.
Graveside Services will be on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at Warrenton Cemetery in Warrenton, VA.
