Frances H Salo

Frances graduated from Pensacola H.S. and worked as an AT&T operator. She married LCDR Willard H. Salo who was a pilot in the Navy. Frances was a beautiful and kind person to everyone, she had a terrific sense of humor and she enjoyed eating out with friends and family. She had a wonderful mind and memory to the end. She will be missed greatly. Frances was an esteemed watercolor artist for more than 50 years. She was a member of The Potomac Watercolor Society, The Virginia Watercolors, and The Art League of Alexandria VA. Painting was her passion. Frances loved to journal she wrote three full pages every day for most of her adult life.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents Coral and Walter Halladay, her husband Willard Salo, and her beloved son Walter. She is survived by her cousin Mary Thomas of NC, sister-in-law Beverly Salo of MN, nephew Harold Carlson of MN, niece Lenore Grinolds of MN, nephew Brian Salo of MN, niece Twylla Chant of FL, niece Karla Wheeler of MN, niece Marie Staie of SC, and niece Rona Costello of VA, and her good friends Adelita and Pancho Martinez of VA.
