Frank Edward McClary Jr.

Frank Edward McClary Jr, of Burke, VA, left us on January 22, 2023 at Inova Alexandria Hospital after a year of declining health. Frank leaves behind his loving wife, Kim, Sister Sharon (Chuck) and their Daughters Dee, Tammy and Karen and their families, brother Mike, Cousin Aaron (Cindy), who was more like a Brother to Frank, and their children Melanie and Geoffrey and their families. Frank is survived by numerous other relatives, along with a wide circle of friends throughout the DMV.

Frank is missed each and every day by his beloved Standard Poodle, “Lulu”, who was his constant companion.

Frank was a native of Alexandria, Virginia and was a Proud U.S. Army Veteran. Frank spent his entire career in the Metal Fabrication Industry, culminating in his ownership of M&S Fabricators, located in Lorton, VA since 2002. Frank considered the people with whom he worked to be family, especially Misty Hooshangi and Liz Hooshangi, who selflessly stepped in to ensure the Company flourished during the period in which Frank faced health challenges.

Frank’s personality was that of a quiet individual~yet he had a dry wit that always rose to the surface. Frank had many friendships for decades, a true testament to how Frank drew people to him.

There will be a Visitation Gathering at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield on Saturday, January 28 from 4:00pm-4:30pm, a Celebration of Life Service from 4:30pm-5:00pm, and a Celebration Reception from 5:00pm - 7:00pm.

Burial will be private.

Frank’s family wishes to thank the incredible Nurses, Physicians, Techs and Therapists at Inova Alexandria and Inova Fair Oaks Hospitals. Also, special thanks to Abdul Kargbo, Frank’s aide, who was his “Buddy” and was by his side during the past year.
