Gustavo was born in Guatemala on May 9, 1953. He came to the United States at the age of sixteen and he was a jeweler by profession.
His favorite pastime was playing a number of different sports with his son David which included tennis and soccer. His favorite holiday was Christmas which he enjoyed celebrating all year long.
He is preceded in death by his father Jesus Davila, and his brother Samuel Davila. Survivors include his beloved partner Sarah Calderon, his son, David Davila, and daughter in-law Mia Davila, along with two precious grandchildren, Suzy and Dylan, and mother, Ana Davila.
He also leaves behind three sisters: Yolanda Valiente, Rosa Galindo, and Lilian Coronado and five brothers: Fernando Davila, Jorge Davila, Henry Davila, and Eddie Davila and a host of nephews and nieces.
