He graduated from James W. Robinson Secondary and then went on to Liberty University where he earned a BS in Kinesiology.
It was during his tenure at Liberty, Jason made arguably his most important discovery, albeit on a school break, when he was introduced to his sister’s friend Amanda. Whom he immediately became enamored with and was engaged to within two years. Together they shared a beautiful 12 year marriage.
After school Jason launched his career as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) where he tirelessly served patients with compassionate care. Jason was more than just a skilled medical professional; he was a beacon of hope and healing to the patients he served. Known for his warm and approachable demeanor, he was widely admired for his unwavering dedication to those in his care. His ability to connect with people on a deep and personal level made him not only a respected professional in his field but also a cherished friend to many who crossed his path.
Growing up, Jason had a passion for drawing and swimming. His love of exercise blossomed into a daily habit of working out as an adult, even becoming a licensed personal trainer. Additionally, he was very close with his family spending every summer together with them in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where they created countless memories. His close family Catholic upbringing established a strong faith in God within him which he carried into adulthood.
As a child Jason established a love of collectibles and movies, his favorites being WrestleMania, Batman, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. These loves grew year by year with Jason boasting an impressive cache of films and memorabilia, his favorite piece being his popcorn machine in his basement home theater that fueled many family movie nights with his two beloved daughters Harper and Kinsley.
Jason had an infectious smile and an innate ability to make his loved ones laugh, always going above and beyond putting others' needs first as a model father, husband, brother, son, uncle, and friend.
Jason is survived by his wife Amanda, two daughters Harper and Kinsley, his mother and father Kathleen and Patrick, and his three siblings Jeremy, Melanie, and Brittney.
