Juliette grew up in Historic Aberdeen Gardens in Hampton, Virginia. She graduated from Virginia State College (University) in 1959 and married her husband, Jim, a career Army Officer, in 1960. They traveled widely and have two children. In 1971, she earned her MA from the University or Arizona.
She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, and talented homemaker who enjoyed military life, as it allowed her to use her creativity to decorate beautiful homes in various locations. Juliette taught 8th grade English at Robinson High School in Fairfax, Virginia for 18 years.
After living in Fairfax Station, VA for 41 years, she and her husband relocated to Westminster at Lake Ridge retirement community in Lake Ridge, Virginia. Juliette is survived by Her husband, COL(Ret) James T. George, son, James T. George II (Janice), daughter, Tracey George-Teasley (Robert), grandsons, Elijah and Caleb Teasley, sister, Geraldine Courtney and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on May 3, 2025, at Antioch Baptist Church, Fairfax Station, Virginia, at 11AM viewing, 12 Noon service.
