Dr. Katherine A. Kihl (Age 50) of Springfield, VA died on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Kim R. Kihl; loving mother of Adam, Kelly and David Kihl; cherished daughter of Bruce Strong; devoted sister of David Strong and Michael Strong(Veroncia). Kathy is also survived by a niece Kerrigan Strong and a nephew Ryan Strong. Kathy is preceded in death by her mother Janet Strong and a sister, Carolyn Strong. Kathy earned her Doctor of Psychology degree in 2005. Devoted to her profession, Dr.Kihl was available for her patients until one week before her passing.
A visitation will be held at DEMAINE FUNERAL HOME, 5308 BACKLICK RD., SPRINGFIELD, VA on, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 5:00pm-8:00pm with a time of remembrance beginning at 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Kathy’s honor to the American Cancer Society or the Sarcoma Alliance.
