Kathleen Edith McCollum, age 91, passed away peacefully Friday, April 8, 2016 at her son Randy’s home. She was born March 14, 1925 in Arkansas City, Kansas. She was married to Lt. Col. Reginald E. McCollum for 55 years when he passed away in 2000. She is survived by three Children: Andy L. McCollum of Bartlett, IL, Linda Arnold of, Florida, and Randy McCollum of Fancy Gap, Va. She had 7 Grandchildren and one great grandchild. The Grand children are: Donna R. Steed of Fredericksburg, Va., Donna E. Shahan of Harrisonburg, Va., Matthew L. McCollum of Elgin, IL, Megan C. McCollum of Elgin, IL, Ryan W. McCollum of Blacksburg, Va. Logan E. McCollum of Radford, Va., and April L. Richardson of Indian Valley, Va. Her great grandchild is Kiley B. Steed of Fredericksburg, Va.
Graveside services in Arlington National Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
