Ki Don Kim

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at St. Paul Chung Catholic Church located at 4712 Rippling Pond Drive, Fairfax, Virginia, officiated by Reverend Tae Jin Benedicto Kim with interment to follow at 12:00pm at Fairfax Memorial Park Cemetery in Fairfax, Virginia. Due to Covid 19 restrictions attendance at the interment is limited to family members only and masks are required.

Mr. Kim is most remembered for his love of family and sports. He was a sumo wrestler champion, black belt in taekwondo and judo. He enjoyed watching football and other local sports and was rarely seen without his signature “baseball cap”! Some of his favorite activities included playing soccer, traveling, reading, and taking long walks enjoying all the beauties of nature. All will miss his beautiful smile and cheerful disposition!

He is survived by his brother, Mr. Ki Hong Kim, Seoul, Korea, sister, Jung Sook Kim, South Korea, sister, Mrs. Soo Ja Lee and husband Hwan Young Lee of Seoul Korea; son, Mr. Man Ho Kim of Gainesville, Virginia, son, Mr. Mountain Kim and wife Cynthia Filan-Kim, OFS, of Clifton, VA , son, Mr. Myung Ho Kim, of Falls Church, Virginia; daughter, Ms. Sun Sook Kim, Seoul, Korea, daughter, Mrs. Sun Mi Peters and husband Rev. Timothy Peters, Seoul Korea, daughter, Mrs. Sun Ju Kim and husband Young Sung Kim of Los Angeles, California.

He was preceded in death by his loving spouse of 69 years, Mrs. Nam Ye Kim; and parents, Mr. Ik Hwan Kim, mother, Mrs. Sa Ma So; brother, Mr. Ki Joon Kim, and sister, Ki Sook Kim, Seoul, Korea, and sister, Ms. Choon Ae Kim; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.

장례식 미사는 2020 년 11 월 21 일 토요일 오전 10시 30 분에 버지니아 주 페어팩스에있는 4712 Rippling Pond Drive에 위치한 성 폴 정 천주교 교회에서 열릴 예정이며, 이날 오후 12시에 김태진 목사님이 주재하고 있습니다. 버지니아 주 페어팩스에있는 페어팩스 기념 공원 묘지에서 Covid 19 제한으로 인해 중재 회 참석은 가족 구성원으로 만 제한되며 마스크가 필요합니다.

김 씨는 가족과 스포츠에 대한 사랑으로 가장 기억에 남습니다. 그는 스모 선수 였고 태권도와 유도의 블랙 벨트였다. 그는 축구와 다른 지역 스포츠를 보는 것을 좋아했고 그의 서명 "야구 모자"없이는 거의 볼 수 없었습니다! 그가 가장 좋아하는 활동으로는 축구, 여행, 독서, 자연의 아름다움을 즐기는 긴 산책 등이 있습니다. 모두가 그의 아름다운 미소와 쾌활한 기질을 놓칠 것입니다!

그는 동생 김기홍, 한국, 여동생, 김정숙, 한국, 여동생, 이수자 여사와 서울의 남편 이환영에 의해 살아 남았다. 아들, 버지니아 주 게인즈 빌의 김만호 씨, 아들, 버지니아 주 폴스 처치의 아들, 김명호 씨, 아들, 버지니아 주 폴스 처치의 아들, 김명호 씨와 아내 Cynthia Filan-Kim, OFS; 딸, 김선숙, 서울, 한국, 딸, 피터스 부인과 남편 티모시 피터스 목사, 한국 서울, 딸, 김선주 부인과 남편 김영성, 캘리포니아 로스 앤젤레스.

그는 69 년의 사랑스런 배우자 김남 예 부인이 죽음을 앞두고 있었다. 부모님, 김익환 씨, 어머니, 소사 마씨; 남동생 김기준, 여동생 김기숙, 한국 서울, 여동생 김춘애; 19 명의 손자; 21 명의 증손자.
