Linda Ann Callahan

She was born on December 27, 1947, in New Jersey, the daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Kuharik) Semonche.

Linda held numerous IT positions with the private sector, and traveled extensively throughout the U.S. She retired from the D.C. Government in 2019. Until recently, she was President of the Springfield Chapter of the Lion’s Club. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, crossword puzzles, and her much beloved dachshunds, Eddie and Izzy.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Callahan, and brother, Ronald Semonche.

She is survived by nieces Bernadette Pinamont (William) and Yvonne Pappas (Ted), great nephew Billy Pinamont (Isabella Bjorkeson), great nieces Julia Pinamont Johnston (Sam) and Alexis Pappas, and sisters-in-law Mary Anne, Nadine, Carolyn, Mary, and June Callahan.

A memorial service will be held on October 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd., Springfield, VA. Interment will be private in Patton, PA, at a later date.
