He us survived by his wife of 44 years, Jacqueline Waitts of Annandale Virginia. Also surviving is his brother, Larry Snellings, of Fredericksburg.
Jerry touched many people throughout his life as a kind, receptive, witty and caring friend. He was an avid pool player, who was part of teams that went to the national 8-ball championship tournament in Las Vegas four times. As a student of the game, he taught many people to play and love the game of pool.
A memorial get-together will be planned in July.
