Margaret Joye Sadoti

Margaret Joye Sadoti, 88, of Annandale, VA, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012, at the Sunrise of McLean. Beloved wife of the late Philip J. Sadoti, much loved mother of Deborah Whitaker (Mike) of Great Falls, VA and Stephen Sadoti (Cheryl) of Suwanee, GA, and the late Gary Sadoti, who passed away 39 years ago. Also survived by sisters Betty Tangari and Emily Niven of Charlotte, NC and brothers-in-law James Sadoti (June) of Conroe, TX and Carl Sadoti of Lusby, MD. Beloved grandmother of Jaime and Brian (Katy) Whitaker and Ariel, Nicola and Shiloh Sadoti, great grandmother of Mason Whitaker and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Born in Waxhaw, NC, she moved to Washington, DC to begin a secretarial career at the Veterans Administration and retired from the FDA. An avid gardener and simple "country girl", she was always the silent strength of her family and will be very much missed. A memorial service in her honor will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area (PFNCA) in memory of her husband, Philip.
