She was the wife of the late John S. Sowa, Sr., who predeceased her
in September of 1999.
Born August 22, 1926, in Hyattsville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the
late George E. and Dorothy M. Moore and beloved sister of
Shirley and Dorothy. Mary was predeceased by her
Sister Shirley on January 5, 2015.
She was a wonderful, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and
will be greatly missed.
Mary is survived by her Son, John and wife Karen of Jamestown, NY;
her Daughter Linda and husband, George, of Middleton, MA; and
Daughter Cathy and husband, Bob, of Burke, VA; four Grandchildren,
Laurie, Lisa, Natalie and Kristen; and two great-grandchildren,
Ethan and Emily.
